FAQ
How long does a brow tint last?
We should get a tint to last around 4 weeks - but getting there can take a couple of goes. We start on the gentler side while we land on your perfect custom colour (especially if you're not ready for a bold, power brow just yet). Once we’ve nailed your tint recipe, the staying power will follow.
Is brow tint safe for sensitive eyes or skin?
It depends what you are sensitive to, but we’ve had great results with the Brow Code tint - no reactions reported so far. If you're unsure, we’re happy to do a patch test ahead of your appointment for peace of mind.
Can I choose the shade of my brow tint?
Absolutely. We always chat through your brow goals first, then blend a custom colour based on your skin tone, hair colour, and how bold (or subtle) you want the final result to be. It’s a team effort - and we don’t take our tint mixing lightly.
How does tinting enhance your brows?
Tinting adds volume, shape and structure - especially if your natural brows are fair, patchy, or thinning. It helps frame your face, open up the eyes, and brings your features into better focus. Basically, it’s the quickest way to look more ‘done’ with minimal effort.
How often should I get a brow tint?
If your brows vanish without tint or grow in fast, aim for every 4 weeks. Otherwise, every 5–6 weeks should keep things polished without overdoing it.
Can I wear makeup after my brow tint?
Yep - there’s absolutely no downtime. Just maybe skip any heavy-duty cleansing or brow makeup for the rest of the day to give the tint a little time to settle in.
Is tinting safe during pregnancy?
We always recommend checking with your midwife or GP first. While we’ve had many clients continue tinting safely through pregnancy, hormones can do funny things to skin and hair - so if you’re concerned, a patch test is your best friend.
