HOW TO USE

Apply Josh Rosebrook's Hydrating Accelerator, a facial oil or serum generously before use — gua sha requires slip to work effectively. Use slow, deliberate strokes following the Lanshin technique. Free step-by-step video tutorials available on the Lanshin website. Clean after each use: wash with hot soapy water, towel dry. Note: jade is slippery when wet and will break if dropped — use with a hand towel in the sink basin when cleaning. Not recommended during pregnancy without guidance from a licensed acupuncturist.

Lanshin was founded by Sandra Lanshin Chiu, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine in New York. The tools are rooted in centuries of TCM practice, designed with clinical intent — not aesthetic trend. Gua sha at this level is less about de-puffing and more about moving lymph, releasing facial tension and supporting genuine circulation. The Pro tool is internationally patented and used in Sandra's own clinical practice. Ingredients

Nephrite Jade, also known as “He Tian” Jade, is more rare than Xiuyan Jade. It’s also denser and heavier than the more common types of Jade so it’s less prone to chipping or breakage.
