HOW TO USE

Shake well before use. Hold upright when removing or replacing the lid — the formula is fluid and will spill if tipped. Apply as the final step of your morning routine after serums and moisturiser. Use generously and reapply during the day if outdoors for extended periods. Non-negotiable the morning after Crystal Retinal or other vitamin A products.

Rosacea-prone skin has two problems with most SPFs: chemical UV filters can trigger flushing, and many formulas contain fragrance or other ingredients that aggravate sensitivity. The A-R Emulsion solves both. Mineral SPF50+ filters avoid the irritation potential that chemical alternatives can cause in reactive skin. Caffeine and green tea extract work actively to calm and reduce visible redness as the SPF does its job. The subtle tint helps gently even out the uneven skin tone that tends to accompany rosacea and persistent redness. Fernblock provides the antioxidant and DNA repair layer. Worth knowing: you don't need a rosacea diagnosis to benefit from this — if your skin is reactive to most SPFs or prone to flushing, this is a reasonable first choice.
